Coming Home to Victoria to Celebrate with Family
Victoria has always been a special place for the bride. Although she now calls Winnipeg home with her husband, the couple chose to return to Victoria for their wedding so they could celebrate such an important day surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Their day was filled with laughter, genuine moments, and the warmth of a Filipino family celebration. They exchanged vows at St. Joseph the Worker Parish before heading downtown for wedding portraits around the Inner Harbour. The celebration continued at the Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion, where the surrounding park and Gorge Waterway gave us even more beautiful places to explore for photos.
What I enjoyed most about photographing this wedding was how much fun they allowed themselves to have. They were relaxed, playful, and fully present with the people who came to celebrate with them. From the quieter moments of the day to the laughter shared with family and friends, it was a wonderful Victoria wedding to document.
