Keeping the Celebration Close
There was something beautifully uncomplicated about this intimate wedding in Saanich. With just over ten people gathered at the couple’s home, the day felt personal, relaxed, and focused on the people who mattered most.
The ceremony was emotional from the start, with both of them tearing up during their vows. The way they looked at each other throughout the ceremony made the moment feel even more genuine.
The bride wore a modern gown with clean lines and a cape detail for portraits, paired with a simple bouquet of white calla lilies. Together with the groom’s classic dark suit, their look felt polished without being overly formal.
After the ceremony and portraits, everyone continued the celebration with a private dinner at Marilena Cafe + Raw Bar in Victoria.
What I loved most about this wedding was how natural it felt. No big production, no unnecessary fuss—just two people getting married, surrounded by the people closest to them.
